Wonderful stay 🌻

I loved the traditionally French look of the gîte I stayed in (sunflower cottage) It was exceptionally clean and everything had been thought through with the welcome goodies a bonus!

 

The tv has English apps, the shower was excellent with great water pressure and it was great I didn't have to go out to buy teabags, milk, washing up liquid, cling film etc so it saved me worrying about having to shop for anything except my meals.

 

The English hosts, Ian and Anna, are a delight. I was immediately made very welcome and even offered to join them for evening conversation as I was alone.

 

It's in a very quiet area but only a short walk into the centre of the town which has everything you may need. There is parking on site and I felt very safe there, which is a big deal as a lone woman traveller. The garden is lovely with cute bug hotels built in the woodland that is part of the grounds. I didn't try the pool as it was still a little cold being March.

 

All in all I will definitely be back here when visiting this area in the future. Thank you so much for the wonderful welcome and for making me feel so comfortable.

 

There was nothing I didn't like about this place. Everything was tiptop!

The house and especially the kitchen are very well equipped. Throughout the house you will find loving details. The landlords are very friendly and helpful.

There could be more sockets in the bathroom.
