In between the much needed showers, we are still enjoying some really warm days and evenings at Gites Rue Du Chateau and our woodland is starting to look very autumnal as the leaves change colour. Ian has been busy collecting and stacking logs from the woodland and made us somewhere to hang our winter jackets. Bumblebee Cottage and a whole site booking listing are now on VRBO and Airbnb and we have had a number of enquiries and a booking within the first couple of days, so it starting to feel a bit real now. We are still busy finishing off the re-wiring and refurbishing of our last cottage, but did manage to get some time out yesterday and visited a local fishing lake and a pretty little town called Civray, also twinned with Downham Market; a town close to where we lived in England. .. hopefully, our next update will be for our finished Garden View Cottage …
