Having made the decision to change our lifestyle, we relocated from Norfolk, England to Ruffec, France, in April 2022. With a full house of 5-star reviews in our first year, we would love to welcome you to our beautiful home and complex of four French cottages.

​

The property is located within the ' ancien quatres ' of Ruffec and the grounds of what was once part of the old Chateau estate and we can offer a little haven of tranquillity; a place where you will be able to relax and feel at one with nature and at the same time, have fun and make those precious memories.

 

We have four cosy French cottages available for holiday rental all year round. Our site offers separate cottage rentals, with no more than two rented at any one time or as a whole site group booking, with exclusive use of the site's facilities. Especially ideal for larger family and friends bookings, when you would like to have separate accommodation but be on the same site. Gites Rue Du Chateau is a great place to have fun with friends and family.​ 

 

The two and half acres of walled gardens and woodland includes a beautiful stream running through a renovated lavoir (former wash house), woodland path, a lovely pool, mini boules area, BBQs, outside kitchen and dining area, cosy fire pit corner and access to covered terraces.

 

Every day we now wake up to the sound of birdsong, running water and the toll of the local church bells in the distance.  Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of a restaurant, bistro, bakeries, shops, a beer warehouse/bar and a local market. You can choose to stay on site or venture out and take part in one of the many local activities on offer, including, the Rejallant canoeing centre, cycle paths, adventure parks, local lake activities or visit a Chateau.
