Wow, where did the past two months and summer go!!!

We have now had a lovely break and spent some precious time with family and friends. My gorgeous grandson made his first adventure to visit us with his Mummy and Daddy and Max  and we celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary with a lovely tea party      .

 We are now back to work, shutting the site down for the coming winter months, ongoing woodland maintenance, a little gardening and repairing lawns, harvesting fruits and I’ve even had chance to make onion chutney ready for our Christmas cheese feasts  . The Autumn days are once again warm and sunny and giving us the much needed chance to get out into the grounds. You will see in the photographs that we found a woodpecker hole one of our fallen trees… lets hope the poor litttle chap wasn’t home when the tree came down  ….

As we welcome our first guests back for this Autumn, a reminder that our calendars are now open for next year.
